Northfield Garden Studio designs balconies, courtyards, roof terraces and small back yards for people who want a green space that actually works: plants that suit the light, containers that drain, and a layout you can sit in.
We are a two-person studio based in Graz, working across Styria and remotely anywhere in the German-speaking alpine region. Most of our clients have less than 40 square metres to work with. That is our specialty.
What we do
- Planting plans for containers, raised beds and narrow borders, chosen for your orientation and wind exposure.
- Balcony and terrace design, including weight-aware container layouts and irrigation.
- Native and pollinator planting that brings bees and birds into the city without looking scruffy.
- Seasonal care visits for clients who want the garden kept, not just designed.
How it works
Book a free 20-minute call, send us a few photos and the rough dimensions, and we come back with a fixed quote. Design packages start at EUR 290 for a single balcony.
